STOICISM presented in the WasteEng2014 in Brazil
The 5th International Conference on Engineering for Waste (WasteEng2014) took place in Rio de Janeiro from 25-28 August 2014. This conference is an excellent platform for the world scientists and industries in the environmental and energy sector to meet and share ideas and experiences on recent work as well as on new perspectives resulting from innovation.
Prof. Filippov from the University of Lorraine (Nancy, France), gave a key note speech entitled “Rare earths and strategic metals: primary and secondary resources” as part of the technical sessions of the event. His contribution discusses the valorisation of waste flows from past historical and new waste flows to recover rare earth and metals.
This event brings together scientists, researcher and industry with an interest in optimising the primary identification, extraction and processing stages with which to recover rare earth materials for a sustainable mining industry as well as to support market needs.
